Medicare Part A and Part B

Medicare Part A and Part B are the two original components of the federal Medicare program that provides health insurance coverage to eligible individuals. Part A (Hospital Insurance) covers inpatient hospital stays, skilled nursing facility care, hospice care, and some home health care services. Part B (Medical Insurance) covers certain doctors' services, outpatient care, medical supplies, and preventative services.
